To order from this page just make your selections and click on the "Add to Cart" button or the  "Buy" link. Upon placing  your order you'll receive an immediate confirmation via email. You are not billed at that time. We process orders manually, preferring to have a human actually check things over and contact you should there be questions. Within 24 hours of placing your order you will receive a follow-up email confirmation and final invoice reflecting your total charges (Monday-Friday). You are not billed until we actually send you your final invoice.  Orders shipped to CA addresses will have California Sales Taxes applied, out of state orders are tax free. Orders over $100 are shipped FREE!* Orders less than $100 are billed for shipping. During the ordering process you can select expedited shipping if required. (Within the USA via UPS ground. Oversize/weight items will be billed for shipping and you will be sent an emailed invoice reflecting total charges prior to actual billing. In the case of oversize or overweight exceptions to our standard shipping policy, we will not bill or ship without you having had a chance to review the invoice).

I imagine I've whetted your appetite with the images above. Here's the story. We are a test retailer for Penn's Custom Shop. This is something you'll be hearing more about after January 1, 2010. We can take orders for these great reels now, with delivery within 4-6 weeks. Here are the particulars:

Penn International V Series 2 Speeds

VS Series: 12VS, 16VS, 30VSW, 50VSW, 70VS and 80VSW,
VSX Series: 12VSX, 16VSX, 30VSX, 50VSX and 130VSX
Single Speed V Series: 30VW and 50VW.

These are the only models which can be ordered, and no retro-fitting or customization of older models. This program only applies to sales of NEW reels ordered from us using this page.

You have several options for customization:

SIDEPLATE ENGRAVING - 2 LINES TOP LEVEL UP TO 25 LETTERS
AND SIDEPLATE SUB-LEVEL UP TO 20 LETTERS 

COLOR COMBINATION (maximum 2 colors) FOR FRAME, SIDEPLATES, SPOOL AND DRAG LEVER.

 

You have the choice of six different sideplate image engravings, Penn Logo, US Flag, Tuna, Dolphin/Dorado, Marlin and Sailfish. And, you have seven different possibilities of colors (up to two can be combined on a reel).

Engraving adds $100 cost to the basic price of the reel.
Custom Colors adds $100 to the price of the reel.
When both custom color and engraving are requested the cost is $150 beyond the cost of a basic International. Reel pricing below is based upon both color and engraving.

Just added, the new International 12VS and 12VSX. Soon to be added Torque Star Drag Reels, and we're hoping the spinners too!

Penn has also added some new engraving choices which are available on all models of reels, but revised as consequence of the new models of reels that are now part of the Custom Shop program.

Expect delivery to run 30-45 days from initial order and billing. Please carefully look over your confirmation to ensure that everything is EXACTLY as you wish. There are no refunds or exchanges on customized reels - can't do that, it's a custom product made just for you, by specifications you provide. So, be sure of what you want prior to ordering. And, once ordered this is a commitment that can not be changed or cancelled. Of course manufacturer's warrantee applies. We can also spool up your reel if so desired.
