Seeker's
Inshore II
Blue Lightning Series
Graphite/S-Glass with Blue EVA Grips
These rods are more fun to fish than the law should
allow. Do you like to fish plastics and crankbaits? Looking for a rod with
great sensitivity, and enough backbone to pull on a big bass or halibut? Like the
idea of cranking in a hard fighting yellowtail on light line? This is the series of
product you're seeking.
Seeker changed their very popular Inshore series a couple years ago, making
a cosmetic upgrade, and also lightened the rod as well. The new rods
feature a beautiful blue hue blank, holographic blue thread wrap, and some
great looking guides that match the rod perfectly with a metal ring insert
of blue. Their grips are made from EVA foam, again in a matching blue
tone. The Inshore Series is a wonderful thing to fish, very light, with the
seven footers available with a casting style trigger grip, the 8 footers
without (to accommodate use of a real clamp). They'll do double service in
freshwater, too. But, for most of us, these are dedicated inshore casting
rods for calico bass, seabass, and even yellowtail. They'll do great with
bluefish, bonito, stripers and small tuna.
I purchased a 705 a couple years ago, and
have really enjoyed fishing the product. I use 8-12 lb. line on my 705, and can
strongly recommend this line of rods to folks who like fishing lighter line, and like long
casts. For what it's worth, I ended up also buying a 706 and 708 with all AFTCO
light weight rollers, and a couple of their specialty rods. That means I really like
the product. If you like fishing artificials, and enjoy taking your time fighting a big
fish on lighter line, you'll enjoy owning one of these great rods.
The great feel you get fishing these rods
comes from their unique construction. Seeker combines "S" glass with
graphite in the blank. The result is a rod with excellent durability, strength, and
increased sensitivity. The topper is that these rods also achieve a 30% reduction in
weight. All rods in this series feature a lifetime warranty, blue
titanium coating over Zirconia Guides (some with AFTCO rollers), EVA foam
grips, Fuji graphite composite cushioned reel seats and hard rubber butt
caps. That's the nuts
and bolts of why these products fish so darn well. The rods are wrapped in black
with a touch of Seeker's blue and gold. These rods are built in the U.S.A., like all
Seeker fishing products.

CharkBait
Rod Socks
Our Chark-Sleeves are
a bit different than the one's above. They are
available in three sizes. The base of the
sleeve folds up onto the butt section of the
rod and then can be tied off. So, one size can
fit shorter rods with no problem. They are
made of 89% polyester and 11% lycra (like OJ's
gloves if you remember...). The material is
versatile, durable and quick drying. It's
super stretchy, and the micro polyester fabric
wicks away moisture - like those $60 golf
shirts. Nice product, nice price! These will
stretch up to one foot longer in length. So, a
5' will indeed fit a 6' rod, the 7 will
stretch to a tight 8.
