The T-Bar has been around long enough to be safely trusted, trusted to go onto something already bordering on perfection, a Penn International. They are efficient transmitters of energy, they give you another advantage in dealing with a larger fish. The articulated handle helps you gain an advantage.

I've personally wanted to add one of these to a couple of my own reels, wanted to for years but never did. I'm personally pretty darn cheap, these are premium expense-type items. After all, a stock Penn International handle is nice isn't it? Sure it is, but there's a reason Penn made their 70S with a different crank now isn't there? An articulated handle is a very good thing. After two-speeding my own 20T, the stock handle just didn't quite hack it. I needed something with more meat to it. Then, when I blew out my shoulder, I needed all the help with the cranking arm I could get. So, I was a motivated buyer of the product and the line. I've got to tell you, it's a major improvement! Based upon my own smile index of product enhancements, I'd say with confidence you'll like one of these, too. Yep, no doubt. Fact is, I've added them to all my Internationals, except my little 12LT. On that one, I went with the T-Bar Lite. They are flat out worth the money...and they are a pretty penney. But, boy they're a big improvement.

Area Rule has licensed Tiburon to manufacture and sell their T-Bar Lite handles. The lighter duty handles are quality built, and ergonomic in use. They're very comfortable in the hand, and can provide some added power when cranking. These are the same handles used on the Tiburon reels, they're quality built. The lever arm is HARD anodized for lasting corrosion protection the pin, hub and assembly screw are stainless steel and the handle and washers are made from Delrin.

These are scaled down versions of the finest reel handles known to man, the original T-Bars. They're lighter, smaller, and less expensive with a CharkBait price of only $39.99.

Reel-X - anti corrosion and lubrication @ $4.95
Reel-X is a lubricant for your fishing reel, which also has very good corrosion protection qualities. Use it where ever you would normally lubricate your reel, but wipe the reel down with a bit of Reel-X on the rag for some extra protection. If you own a Pro Gear, please use this product internally with regularity.
