Upon placing your order you'll receive an
immediate confirmation via email. You are not billed at that time. We process
orders manually, preferring to have a human
actually check things over and contact you
should there be questions. Within 24
hours of placing your order you will receive a
follow-up email confirmation and final invoice reflecting your total charges
(Monday-Friday). You are not billed until we actually send you your final invoice.
Orders shipped to CA addresses will have California Sales Taxes applied, out
of state orders are tax free. Orders over $100 are shipped
FREE!* Orders less than $100 are billed $8.50 for shipping. During the
ordering process you can select expedited
shipping if required.
(Within the USA via UPS ground. Oversize/weight items will be billed for
shipping and you will be sent an emailed invoice reflecting total charges
prior to actual billing. We will not ship
without you having had a chance to review the
invoice).
---------Before we get into the product I need to offer a
caveat. Accurate is through making components. No more, it's been
nice, but they are done. Handles are in very short supply. Demand for
their reels has really taken-off, and machining time is quite limited.
Components are history, handle supply spotty as of the present time
(6/6/07).
We've
stocked Accurate's handles almost since our beginning, 12 years ago.
But, things are changing. With the success of Accurate's line of
reels, the boys just do not have time to produce the handles. They are
going away. Inventory is limited to what we have on hand.
In
the picture to the right you can see the two styles of handle Accurate
has produced for the past four years. For 2006 they made an
improvement in design for the round ball handle. When Accurate
introduced their $900 spinning reel they wanted to shave some weight
while still maintaining the strength and comfort of the ball design.
They hollowed out the inside of the knob, added bearings and really
tricked the piece out. The new version is pictured below, and is
finally available for purchase. It makes a welcome addition to any
older Accuratized Penn reel or Accurate Boss Series reel.

When you're building your
Accuratized reel, you'll benefit from using the Reel-X product below. When ever you
put dis-similar metals together you run a greater risk of corrosion. This stuff will
eliminate that problem. Also, you might want to take a peek at the Maintenance page
of CharkBait. We stock a pretty wide range of drag washers, and you'll probably
want to replace them when doing your upgrade.
