ProFish Co. Power Jigs

We're quite please to be able to offer some terrific deep water jigging packages this season. First on the list are the ProFish Co. Power Jigs. These were introduced a couple years ago and created quite a stir by virtue of their effectiveness, quality and value (especially when compared to one nameless Japanese bicycle maker's offerings). In this package you'll receive six lures and two packs of hooks for use on the unique lures. The lures will be supplied in three weights, from 100-200 grams. With this range of sizes you can work the water column very effectively. The shape of this jig offers a fair amount of flutter on the drop, and the finish is excellent. The lures also benefit from having a luminescent belly - they light up!

Braid Seafox and Thumper Squids

Here's a great value, on a very popular new lure from Braid. You may have seen some similar lures (yep, the same nameless bicycle manufacturer) costing a ton! But, Braid Products came to market with a similar, and better, version of this deep water jigging lure. The Braid Seafox and Thumper Squids have been some of the most popular lures of 2008, and they are proving quite effective. The lures come pre-rigged from the factory, and the rigging is of quality materials - unlike that offered by the (nameless bike manufacturer) competing product. We're including a nice lure wrap with these lures so that you'll be well organized.

Blade Runner Squids

Here's a very unique lure assortment for folks targeting a wide range of fish. Squid are something every predatory fish relishes, almost as much as I like calimari! White seabass, yellowtail, tuna all will gorge themselves on squid, and this group of heavy lures mimics a squid better than anything we've seen. We've been fishing these lures for a couple years time now, and they have proven themselves very effective lures. Of course this package comes with a very nice lure case, and, the lures come rigged.

Tady, Sumo and 544 are popular lures here on the West Coast. We have two packages of lures available, one targeting surface fishing, the other for mid and deeper water fished vertically. Sevenstrand Tuna Tamers Tuna Clone & Feather Kit

Sevenstrand's Tuna Clone Feathers are a long time favorite for tuna trollers. The lures feature excellent skirts, fluid effect feathers and a 4.5 oz. leadhead so the lure will stay in the water even at higher trolling speeds. We're offering six lures in a range of patterns suitable for any area, from Baja to the Gulf. We're including a lure roll up pack to keep your lures organized. We can rig your lures, or send 'em out unrigged so your angler can rig 'em according to their preferences. If you'd like us to rig the lures it will run $5.00 per lure.

Sumo Tackle

Sumo offers two styles of trolling lures, a bullet head and jet head, in several sizes. The bullet head designs offer a pair of beady red eyes, quality skirts, and heavy chrome heads (M17&14). They troll fast and stay down. The concave jet head M16C & M17C produce more bubbles and commotion. Both styles work, both belong in your tuna arsenal. It's about that simple.

The Sumo Pack includes three jets, and three bullets. They've proven themselves highly successful trolling for albacore and yellowfin. If you'd like us to rig the lures it will run $5.00 per lure.

Iland Lures - Jets and Bullets

This a a wonderful assortment of some of the highest quality and most effective tuna tamers on the market. Iland lures have proven themselves competent catchers of a wide range of fish, including tuna. This package combines some of their best offerings, in unique upgraded skirts. You'll get three "chugger" style lures to provide plenty of fish attention getting bubble trails and three high speed bullet heads. All use Iland's "hair" skirts. Catchy Tackle Jets

Catchy Tackle has earned great recognition for the effectiveness of their spinner jet lures. The spinner blades move freely while trolled, creating a whole lot of commotion. In the SMALL pack pictured you'll get six lures in a range of patterns, all in a nice lure wrap. This selection focuses on the small 1.25 oz. lures, early season favorites especially for albacore. While the lures are small, they do a very good job of staying in the water. The spinner pulls through the water well, and attracts a lot of attention from the tuna .

P-Line made an entry to the offshore market in recent years. Their Klone lures have proven quite effective, and are a great value compared to others on the market. They added some dandy metal headed lures, as well. We're including two sizes of these in the package, one of the large magnum size suitable for larger grade yellowfin and bluefin tuna. The lures are unrigged, rigging is available as an option.

I've used these lures to great effect on several long range charters. Ballyhood Tournament Wahoo Pack

Here's a great wahoo kit, designed for both trolling duty and in the case of the bullet-head, capable for use as a casting bomb. The kit consists of three proven lures.

First off you get a 14 ounce 10" long "cowbell" lure with a rattle head. It's a straight running lure, water pours through the head, and you have the benefit from a sonic trail. The lure can be trolled from 2-14 knots! It's a newer design from Ballyhood, and one that will produce. The lure retails for $49.

Next you get a 6 ounce Wahoo Whacko trolling and casting lure. It's a straight running lure on the troll, capable of high speed use. It's also very effective as a casting bomb, a bit heavier than most standard bombs it can provide longer casts and deeper drops than what most other guys will be tossing on the long range trips.
