Upon placing  your order you'll receive an immediate confirmation via email. You are not billed at that time. We process orders manually, preferring to have a human actually check things over and contact you should there be questions. Within 24 hours of placing your order you will receive a follow-up email confirmation and final invoice reflecting your total charges (Monday-Friday). You are not billed until we actually send you your final invoice.  Orders shipped to CA addresses will have California Sales Taxes applied, out of state orders are tax free. Orders over $100 are shipped FREE!* Orders less than $100 are billed $8.50 for shipping. During the ordering process you can select expedited shipping if required. (Within the USA via UPS ground. International, and oversize/weight items will be billed for shipping and you will be sent an emailed invoice reflecting total charges prior to actual billing. Mend-it!

Here's a great product we just came across. If you fish plastics, soft swimbaits, you'll absolutely love this stuff. In the past, some folks have tried using super glue or a match to deal with tears and breaks in soft plastic baits. If you fish a lot of plastics, you know that the cost can add up with torn lures, lures that have been bitten... The problem is that the other methods of fixing these lures either does not work or it causes problems of their own. Super glue works up to a point, but it's not perfect. Add to that that the stuff also bonds to your fingers, gets hard, and makes a horrible mess on a boat when some bozo steps on the container and gets it all over the boat. The Mend-it won't stick to your skin, clothing, boat or carpet so it can confidently be used whenever and wherever you need it. Mend-it is a "non-glue" which binds soft plastic bait together by chemically "melting" them, creating a catalyzing action between the pieces of plastic treated with Mend-it. It dries clear, soft and strong leaving the mended bait as good as new. The picture shows a plastic bait that was mended with this unique product. It's the best product we've seen for dealing with this issue, and it's American made. Pricing for a 1 ounce bottle is only $12.

Reaction Strike Fathead Jr

These folks have some great lures to offer. We used to sell another similar product, BassTrix. The key features with both lures are their realistic patterns, hollow-bodied construction, and shape. Reaction Strike Fathead Jr lures offer the angler an exceptional value in addition to their excellent fish catching design. The lures are one of the most versatile, realistic gamefish catching lures ever developed. They were designed so that fishermen can rig them many ways. You can fish them as you would a traditional tube lure, rig the lure weedless and shallow, rig it to medium to deep running with a weighted hook or even Carolina & Texas rig 'em. The lure's hollow-core design allows for excellent hook sets, that will increase your hook-up percentage vs. traditional swim jigs with plain solid shad bodies. The Fathead Jr is deadly on redfish, calico bass, snook, tarpon, yellowtail, dorado and many other saltwater species. They're also great for freshwater gamefish. We're stocking Fatheads in three sizes, 5, 4 and 3 inch lengths. The lures are all priced at $6.99, and come 4/pack in the 4 & 5 inch size and 5/pack in 3 inch length. The Fatheads are hollow bodied lures. With a hollow body there's less resistance when it comes to hook penetration. There's also a better feel for the predatory gamefish. These lures will work best with a keel weight or under-weight system. Use of a more standard leadhead will detract from the action of the lure in water.

Owner Twist Lock hooks in black chrome uses a centering pin spring system on the hook's ring. This "corkscrew" gets inserted into the head of the lure, then the wide gap hook is inserted into the lure's belly - not quite coming through the top of the bait. When rigged properly you have yourself a weedless lure with enough weight for casting and a natural "underweight" for the most realistic presentation possible.

These wonderful hooks are in short supply. Owner underestimated their needs, demand far outstripped the first import. The manufacturer has not caught-up to demand. We have sporadic supply as a result. We're attempting to clear backorders, too. So, please understand that if you order these hooks (4/24/08) we will not be able to ship your hooks until more come into the country. We are however, working on obtaining another supplier's product. Gamakatsu also manufactures an appropriate hook for this style of bait. Theirs does not use a "corkscrew" but rather is inserted through the bait's lower "mouth" with it's eye exiting where a mouth should be. It too is an effective design. These hooks are in stock, but not up on our site yet...
