If you've
followed us for the past year or so, you've noticed that we
are engaged in production of several of our own exclusive
design products. All have been of good quality and value
since we've eliminated one or two levels of "markup" being
the manufacturer or direct designer and producer ourselves.
As well, the designs typically represent our own experience with
existing products, thoughts of how to do 'em better based
upon our experience or those of our clients. In the case of
the two lures below, we own the molds, they are our designs
and exclusive to CharkBait. Meet our two

 Here we go
with new magnum sized poppers folks have been
asking us for the past couple years. These new
lures are made from wood, aged and cured. All
are properly made, thru-wired for strength and
durability with a unique holographic finish that
will get noticed. Four different styles, four
different color patterns. And, at a value price
given our control of production and
distribution.
The lures are large by any
standard. This size lure is made for the big cow
sized tuna, and is also used to great effect for
fishing giant travalli in more distant waters.
That's where this type of lure really
originated, and it found a new application
that's proven very effective. These lures have
some heft, are best used with heavier tackle of
50-100# and up, feel free to go way up! Again,
they are made for the big ones. These are high
quality products with specific design features
to improve your catch. The thru-wire is 2.0 mm
stainless steel for strength. The rigged lures
feature VMC 8527 5/0 hooks which are 6X strong,
and connected to 100kg + split rings. All lures
make use of rear weighting for distant casts.
You can sling 'em a mile, and more time spent
swimming back to you results in more
opportunities to get bit. This type of lure
generally sells for something darn close to $50.
Since we have control of production, and we
bypass several stages of markup we are able to
bring these lures to market at prices that are
nothing short of incredible.
 Two
Styles: 2 Swimmers, 2 Chuggers
Our Archback Swimmer is 22 cm in
length and weights in at about 120 grams (about
10 inches in length and weighing 4.75 ounces
with hooks). The Mondo Swimmer is scoot
through the surface as well, with a slightly
different action. It also comes in at about 10
inches and weighs almost the same as the
Archback. The Big Mouth Jet Popper is an
innovative chugger, that blows a lot of smoke!
Our 10 Pin Popper is a more traditional
design, chugger face and rear weighted like the
other lures for greater casting distance. It's a
long and skinny 24 cm in length and weighs a
whopping 160 gm. or 5.6 ounces. These things are
made to cast well and far, and they are rigged
to handle tough fish.

CharkBait Yellowtail Coffin Nail Poppers

Series of Topwater Lures
 We
are very pleased to introduce you to another new series of
lures. Our new Topwater Poppers will impress you with their
finish, their attention to detail and their pure fishability.
They compliment our Toro Tamer wooden poppers quite nicely,
being a bit smaller and made from different materials.
You'll note the quality of hooks is good, VMC 3X and use of
solid rings at the nose, and good quality split rings for
connecting the treble hooks. The lures feature a big concave
head, they will throw a lot of water and cause a big time
commotion on the surface. Expect to get noticed and get bit.
Like all our own
design lures, we eliminate two steps of the mark-up process
by bringing these directly to the market. Note the quality,
substance and value, you will be impressed.
Specifications:
The new poppers are
available in two sizes 160 and 200 mm (6.3 "& 7.9"), with
weights of 90 and 150 grams (3.2 & 5.3 ounces).
Those are
great weights for casting, and the size is wonderful for
most fish you'll come across, from little
 schoolie tuna and
tails to some larger fish. If your intent is to get on fish
greater than 100#, then some upgrading of hook and split
rings are called for in my conservative opinion. Going well
over that size, consider our BIG Toro Tamer poppers. But,
for most of what we see, these beautiful poppers will get
you some fish. There are no better lures out there from any
manufacturer in terms of construction and finish. If you
don't agree upon seeing these lures, I'll be glad to cover
their return - I'm that confident of 'em. They are far nicer
than the Braid pieces, nicer than YoZuri's, better weight
distribution than anything from any major manufacturer - and
they are tough!
