We've had the shop open now for about ~~six~~ ten years, and the Internet part of the business for over thirteen! How time flies!!! I doubt you'll find many tackle stores with such a wide selection, and such depth...in such a, well, shall we say intimate environment. If you are just getting acquainted with us, please stop by the shop as well as visit the website. We make it a point to be competitive with our pricing, and our commitment to personal service is a source of pride you'll not find duplicated elsewhere. In 2007 we opened a new warehouse facility in Huntington Beach. From there we operate the internet portion of our business, shipping, receiving, offices and administration. What began as a little one-man-operation has grown, and we sincerely thank you. We now have 10 dedicated people employed with CharkBait, each loves to fish and each is a keeper in my book.

We run a limited number of charter trips each year. We also sponsor a few private boater events through the season. You'll catch information about these opportunities on the site or our shop. (Pictured left, Tom, the Rube, Beth and Chark from the Fred Hall Show in Long Beach 2003)

And, a bit of news... We celebrated the opening of our New San Diego shop June 2010, and the turnout was fantastic. I'd like to thank all the folks that took time to wait at our door, some as early as 7AM to be among the first in line. I'd also like to thank our valued manufacturers who's support help make the event something special. Penn, Accurate, Avet, Seaguar, Catchy Tackle, Calstar, Okuma and the folks at Leadmasters all donated gear for our raffles which helped put smiles on folks faces. The new shop is located at the Midway Village Shopping Center, 1 1/2 blocks north of Rosecrans on Midway Drive.	The Crew: Vince, Mark, John, Jeff and Mike	Here's our very first customer at our San Diego shop, fishing legend Peter Pakula. Yep, Peter was kind enough to drop by and properly give the shop an Aussie Christening (He dumped a beer on the owner's head...? Well, he said it was an Aussie tradition...)
