the brothers who own Avet loved fishing Panama so much that they bought
the best operation down there! Avet's principal owners have now invested
in the M/V Coral Star, and it's their intention to make it the premier
fishing operation in Panama. We've had many of our clients fish these
pristine waters, and to a man all come back very excited and positive

the background and tale:
The M/V Coral Star is a 115 foot Mother-Ship. It offers first-class
service with a world-class fishing experience. In 1995 the ship traveled
from the British Virgin Islands to the Pacific side of Panama where she
began offering sport fishing and diving trips. In 2008 Avet Reels
purchased the M/V operation. The mother ship and sport fishing boats are
totally re-fitted and upgraded since that purchase, making the M/V Coral
Star the class act in Panama sport fishing.
Once
you arrive at the Panama Airport, a VIP representative will meet you at
the gate to escort you to a private lounge for complimentary beverages.
While comfortably enjoying the VIP hospitality, all customs
documentation and luggage transfers will be processed. Once formalities
are completed, enjoy a mini tour of historical and modern Panama
City on the way to a 5 star luxury hotel for your overnight stay. The
next morning you'll awake to a full breakfast before you are transported
back to the airport for your short 45 minute flight
to the city of David. The flight is enjoyed by most guests, with
beautiful scenery and coastal views. During the flight you'll view both
the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, as well as an aerial view of the Panama
Canal. Once you arrive in David, you will be shuttled to one of our
vessels for a breathtaking ride down the river, through tropical
rainforests to the M/V Coral Star which will be at anchor in the
Pacific.
Once aboard the M/V Coral Star you'll begin the pursuit of the fish
of a lifetime. Whether your dream includes a cow tuna, 1000# Black or
Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Rooster fish, giant Snappers or huge Amber Jacks
you'll find plenty of fishing opportunities. There are many, many
sailfish caught and released, and almost any type of pelagic inshore or
offshore species to target. The Hannibal Bank is renown for it's variety
of sportfish, and the islands off the coast of Panama are nothing short
of spectacular.
