JYG Pro Semy Slow Pitch Jigs

JYG Pro has been coming out with some very nice original designs over the past few years they've been in business and have been at the forefront of slow pitch jigging in the US beyond any other company. The Semy as it sounds is a semi-long jig which is great for a variety of different conditions both low and high current scenarios. These are based on the Stryke series which has been very successful for us both for bluefin speed jigging and slow pitch. These jigs can drop a bit quicker with tension on the line because of their more compact size but still have a great action on a free fall or jigging motion.

One important change they've made, based on their own experience as well as the experience seen in Japan, is the reduction of glow. Less or no glow works perfectly well for most species but these jigs feature a unique blue glow which more closely matches bio-luminescence than the radioactive green we've come to expect. With this small change they've been able to get more species and bigger fish on the same spots they've been fishing for years. 

We carry these jigs up to a monster 1030g size which accommodates for deep water jigging and any rockfish depth you want here in SoCal, beyond that it can even be used for species likes swordfish which the JYG Pro team have landed a few times on SPJ gear as well as opah and sablefish. The largest two sizes only come in yellow and pink at the moment as those are the most popular colors.
